Transforming Communities Through Art and Advocacy for Children in Foster Care and Waiting for Adoption.
Imagine a world where every child has the chance to grow up in a loving, permanent home. For thousands of children in foster care, this dream is still out of reach.
We believe in the power of art to spark change, raise awareness, and build hope for these children. That’s why we’re launching the Hope Wall Project!
By providing paint and materials for a local artist, you’re helping to create a mural that raises awareness for children in foster care and those waiting for adoption turning art into advocacy. Each brushstroke contributes to a larger message that fosters community engagement, inspires action, and ultimately brings attention to children who need safe, permanent homes.
Many people are unaware of the foster care crisis or how they can help, and outreach efforts—whether through events, educational materials, or social media campaigns—connect communities with the urgent need for foster homes, adoption and support services. By funding community outreach your donation helps spread the message, recruit foster parents, encourage volunteers, and ultimately lead to more children finding permanent, loving homes.

Your funding the creation of a mural is profound because it brings an entire community together around a powerful message: children in foster care and those waiting for adoption deserve love, stability, and permanent homes. By fully funding a mural, your contribution ensures that the voices of these children are seen and heard in a vibrant, highly visible, and impactful way.
Murals are not just artwork; they are public statements of hope and awareness that reach thousands of people daily.
The Hope Wall Project is a nationwide (and eventually global) initiative of the Sparrow Hope Foundation that uses large-scale murals to raise awareness and funds for children in foster care and those waiting for adoption.
Local artists will create murals on prominent buildings in cities across the United States, serving as a continual reminder of the need for safe, loving homes for foster children.
These murals will not only beautify the community but will also inspire action, foster discussions, and raise critical funds to support foster care programs. We are committed to transforming communities through art and advocacy for children in foster care.
Initial walls are planned for the top five metropolitan cities in the United States with the largest foster care populations including:
Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York.
